Brand identity · Singapore founder
The deck versus the phone
A Singapore founder arrived with an identity that looked immaculate in the investor deck and collapsed at feed size. The logo had twelve details that disappeared at 32 px. The colour palette worked on white slides but vanished on Instagram's dark mode. We rebuilt the visual identity mobile-first: simplified mark, tested at 24 px across avatar, favicon and app icon sizes, and documented a design system the founder's one-person marketing team could use without calling us for every post.
The repositioning exercise cut three taglines to one — "positioning before polish" in practice. Brand strategy workshops mapped the audience to one primary segment instead of four. Content marketing templates followed, sized for LinkedIn and Instagram natively. Engagement improved over the following quarter, but we were honest from the start: creative alone does not fix a weak offer. The client knew that going in.
